IN THE EXHIBITION SPACE OF SKB ARTES
EXPERIENCE SPACE AND THE CONCEPT OF MOVEMENT

Together, the concept of space is explored on both an abstract and a real level. What happens when a body enters a space? How is abstract and real space created? What does movement mean, particularly in its smallest details, and what happens when a group moves together?

These questions form the foundation of an integrative workshop format with process artist Katharina Theresa Mayr in the exhibition spaces of SKB Artes, Via Weggenstein 12A, Bolzano.

For 90 minutes, movement as a concept of space will be the focus, combined with the current exhibitions line, point, texture. a dialogue by Anuschka Prossliner and Sabine Steinmair, and Christian Kaufmann meet me in the gallery.
The workshop goes beyond the classic format and focuses on the shared experience of space and movement, rather than cognitive learning. Participants actively define the con- cept of space through their movements, breaking down everyday gestures into their components. The exercises oscillate between performance and movement meditation. The aim is to sharpen perception and explore the potential of even the smallest detail, which has the power to transform everything.

The Performance-LAB sessions will take place with a minimum of 5 participants, and the maximum number of participants is 8. No prior knowledge is required.
